Warnings

• Decreased clinical response in cIAI with CrCl 30–50; hypersensitivity (penicillin cross-reactivity); C. difficile diarrhoea; neurotoxicity (seizures, encephalopathy) with unadjusted renal impairment. FDA Avycaz · 5

Renal adjustment

• eGFR < 51: CrCl ≤50: 31–50 → 1.25 g every 8 h; 16–30 → 0.94 g every 12 h; lower per Table 3. Children under 2 with renal impairment: insufficient data. FDA Avycaz · 2.3
