- ⛔ Where oxytocics are contraindicated or prolonged contractions are inappropriate (previous Caesarean or major uterine surgery, cephalopelvic disproportion, fetal distress without imminent delivery); placenta praevia or unexplained vaginal bleeding; when vaginal delivery is not indicated; prostaglandin hypersensitivity.
